The code
The order was rolling up. Every vault code is a sequence with exactly one defensible order — once you see the idea, the arrangement follows, and that is the moment the puzzle is designed around.
The keyboard players saw
8 symbols on the board, five in the code, 3 decoys: 🎲 🃏 🎰. An eight-key board keeps the blind-solve space at 6,720 arrangements. Days ordered by an open-ended property — size, speed — stay narrow like this on purpose, because a sixth or seventh candidate would produce a second equally valid answer.
Par and difficulty
Par for this vault was 4 and it was rated easy, leaving 2 spare attempts against the six you get. That sits at the typical mark — about four on a ten-key board, nearer 3.6 on an eight-key one. Beating par means you found the order rather than deduced it.
